Changing Audio (Video Editor)

To save a movie without any audio remove the check from the box labeled Include Audio. Please note that many applications will not accept movies that have no audio.

To load a separate audio file, uncheck the box to the left of Use Source Movie's Audio.  The Audio In text box will appear between the Video In and Movie out text boxes as pictured below.

Click the Audio button and browse to your source file

Supported types include MPA, MP2, MP3, AC3 and OGG,

The audio file properties will be displayed...

Format conversion from your source file is automatic; the target audio file format is determined by the video format. To change any audio properties you can display the audio codec dialog before encoding by checking the option.

When you start the encoding session the dialog will be displayed for the output audio format.

Caution: Setting the audio properties to be incompatible with the video standard will produce unpredictable results including unhandled exception errors from Windows.
